FRONT STREET FESTIVAL SPONSORSHIP REQUEST

The Arlington Historical Society is a non-profit 501{c} {3} organization responsible for all operating costs associated with Knapp Heritage Park located at 201 W. Front Street in downtown Arlington. Your Sponsorship along with proceeds from Front Street Festival will be used towards making Knapp Heritage Park more accessible to the public. The Arlington Historical Society is working to make this facility an intricate part of the Downtown Arlington Community.

Dedicated in 2004, this downtown park contains three of Arlington's oldest structures; the Jopling-Melear and Watson cabins which date to the mid 1800s along with the1910 North Side one-room schoolhouse. The law office of James Knapp for whom the park is named is also located in the park. The Bardin Family Barn, formally located on Middleton Tate Johnson Cemetery property, has been moved and is currently being rebuilt as a Blacksmith Shop at Knapp Heritage Park.
